9 AM – As soon as the first snow falls, put on your cross-country skis or snowshoes and head to Realp, 34 kilometers from Andermatt, on a fully groomed trail. When spring returns, the Schöllenen Gorge – which connects Andermatt to Göschenen – and its legendary tale of the devil become a must-visit. Since 2022, exhibition rooms on both sides of the pedestrian path bring the legend of this majestic bridge to life using state-of-the-art technology. Fascinating!
10 AM – In winter, Andermatt is THE paradise for freeride skiing enthusiasts!
The SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis is the largest ski area in the region, allowing adventurers to explore its slopes safely. When the snow melts, the area transforms into an impressive network of trails, totaling over 500 kilometers of hiking paths and featuring 16 mountain huts. Deep gorges, crystal-clear lakes, and cascading waterfalls—many natural treasures reveal themselves along the routes.
