Thibault Leclerc, for the love of stones

As a child, he dreamed of being a ‘gold hunter.’ He devoted his spare time to this mission which, over the years, became his passion. Thibault Leclerc didn’t have to ponder his career choice. It was obvious, innate. From this love of stones, he has built up an extraordinary savoir-faire, something now so rare that it is in itself precious. So that everything this craftsman touches turns to gold.
He was the last diamond cutting apprentice to be trained in Switzerland before the training course was discontinued. Thibault Leclerc then went on to develop his skills elsewhere, most notably in Canada, where he obtained a degree in gemmology to improve his cutting precision, he explained. He then spent the next seven years learning diamond-cutting ‘in the field’, working for prestigious houses and independent craftsmen which was, without a doubt, the best school of life.
He also travelled extensively, seeking out the most precious stones.
Ten years later, Thibault Leclerc felt it was time to put all this accumulated knowledge to work in a new and more serious setting.
