The Vaudoise coast

Offering exceptional scenery dotted with vineyards, the Côte Vaudoise stretches along Lake Geneva between Lausanne and Geneva. The region has a population of 150,000 and is home to the towns of Mies, Morges, Rolle, Prangins, Aubonne, Gland and Nyon. The main towns of the region are all located less than a 30-minute drive from the Geneva international airport, with Nyon only 10 minutes away.

Proximity to the airport and the presence of thousands of highly qualified professionals have attracted many international companies and associations to this region. Culturally the region is very cosmopolitan. There are many private schools offering education in both English and French. The region also benefits from a workforce of people who live in France but cross the border to work in Switzerland every day.

There are many biomedical companies in the area and a number of multinational companies have set up their international or European headquarters here. There are also many international associations. The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the International Motorcycling Federation and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) have their headquarters here.

The region's medieval history invites you to stroll and relax through its cobblestone streets, villages and castles. From walks and wine tasting to swimming in the lake, the region enjoys a dynamic economy and culture and offers an abundance of leisure activities. Its blossoming quays with the magnificence of Mont Blanc in the distance, its tiny villages with unspoiled charm as well as its international schools and privileged quality of life contribute to the region's uniqueness.

BARNES will be happy to meet you in our offices in Mies, Coppet, Nyon, Rolle and Morges to present you with the most beautiful properties in the region: gorgeous waterfront homes in Coppet, Founex or Prangins, village houses in Vufflens-le-Château or Rolle, contemporary villas in Nyon or Crans-près-Céligny, lofts and even castles!
